Docostory is a private company dedicated to the documentation of people’s life stories. The company was established in 1998, and has already produced more than 950 books.
It was founded by historian and journalist Miriam Dubi-Gazan, to preserve people’s life experiences, which form the history of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Many people would like to record their family history, or a significant period in their lives, but they do not know how to go about it.
This is where DocoStory comes in!
We employ a team of professional writers and journalists whose task is to turn a person’s memories into a professional record for posterity…
Many people have kept diaries over the years or have written a record of a significant period of their lives. As well as “starting from scratch,” with taped interviews, we edit people’s own manuscripts and prepare them for publishing. In all cases, the “voice” in the book is the author’s; the story is his or hers.
Docostory offers the following services:
- Ghostwriting Memoirs, biographies or autobiographies
- All editing services, especially manuscripts of life stories
- Translations: Hebrew/English/Dutch/French/German
